Synopsis
📘 The IOPS option only applies to GP3 volume. If you currently have a GP2 volume and need more IOPS, simultaneously specify both the--volume-type gp3and--iops NNNNoptions.
📘 The maximum IOPS is dependent on disk size and container profile and size. Disk size must meet a minimum ratio of 1 GB disk size per 500 IOPS. Use the following table to understand what container profiles and sizes can be used to meet your IOPS needs. These guidelines may change over time as existing instance types are retired and new ones are introduced.
